Cecilia Kulak Mazza, 76 a long-time resident of Long Branch died at her home, surrounded by her family on Saturday.
Ceil was an active parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church. She was a strong supporter of the Right to Life movement. Ceil was always active in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, never missing any of their events, she loved to be a part of all their lives. She enjoyed winters spent in Palm Beach or Marco Island, Florida.
Ceil was a graduate of Monmouth College where she earned her undergraduate degree as well as her Master’s degree. She worked for the Eatontown Board of Education as a teacher at the Woodmere school, before leaving to raise her family.
Surviving is her husband of 52 years, James F. Mazza, Sr.; their two children, Julie Mazza, Tinton Falls and James F. Mazza, Jr. and his wife Samantha of Colts Neck; her brother Frank Kulak, Minnesota; her sister, Julie Ann of Atlantic Highlands; eight grandchildren, Cecilia, Lucia, Teodora, Serafina, Michael, Antonio, James F. III and Audriana.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Nov. 25th, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian burial, Wednesday, Nov. 26th, 11:30 am at Star of the Sea RC Church, Chelsea and Second Avenue, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
