I met Charlie and Louise at Brighton Gardens. My little brother is a Charles so we'd chat about that and then just visit. I would stop and talk with Louise--and we'd tease Charlie--he loved her so very much and you could just tell. I missed seeing him after I got back from vacation--and now I know why. No doubt that he is in heaven--waiting for Louise. I didn't know he was a civil engineer--my youngest daughter is also a civil engineer and we could have chatted about that as well. My condolences to all of you--he was a wonderful man.

I have known this beautiful person since I was a child in Middletown. My heart aches for the family. He was such an extraordinary loving, loving beautiful soul. The last time I saw him was at his son’s wedding and the way he looked at his beautiful soul mate and wife; every time he would look at her, brought a tear in my heart full of love and awe. Even when we were little I saw that. I know know he loves him family so, even from heaven. May God’s grace and love help you all through this time of sorrow. You all are in my prayers and thoughts always. Holly and Michael Hogan

Dad was the most amazing person! If there was one or two words to describe Dad , it would be in service to others. He was deeply devoted to his family friends and community. He taught us all lessons of charity forgiveness and relationships. Dad shared so many values with all of of his family and friends, he never met a stranger. I will miss having long talks with Dad, reminiscing the old days and hearing his laughter. He was a wonderful father & friend & deeply devoted husband. The gift of love he gave and shared was beyond reproach. Thank you for the gift of my siblings❤️ Thank you for all your kindness - I will miss you DaddyForever ❤️ until we meet again I love you!
