I don't know what made me check on you you today, Charlie. I worked with you back in the day, and enjoyed running into you around town. Peace to you.

My brother has always been my hero and an incredibly beautiful soul. He was my protector and guide throughout my childhood, as well as my instructor of “good” music (Springsteen, Southside Johnny, James Taylor, Carole King, and so many more). We shared a deep love of animals, a silly (and at times perhaps slightly irreverent?) sense of humor, countless nicknames for each other, and a lifetime of shared joys as well as heartbreaks. Charlie - you are forever in my heart.

Charlie and I both taught in Long Branch. The kids loved him. I thought he was a great guy and I’m sorry that he has passed. He was an avid runner. He definitely will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing, and sincere condolences to his family and friends. We were good friends in high school, and played trombone together in the school concert band, brass ensemble and at football games. Charlie could actually play, I tried to keep up. We were usually clowning around in rehearsal, and often Charlie was laughing so hard, tears were streaming down his face. We were married on the same day in 1986 -- and the invitations crossed in the mail! So many good memories of a close high school friend. Rest in peace, Charlie.

I knew Charley from our Delbarton years. We were two of the few 6 year boys. He was a good guy and was famous for his imitations of virtually every member of the faculty. So sorry to hear.
