My dear friend Chris, You have been my inspiration ever since I met you back in 1982. You were larger than life. Your ability to communicate and your passion with people/life was astonishing. I knew you personally and in business and both areas your light shined. I will miss the 5pm Sunday chats with you. Keep a spot for me in your heart as I will for you. Love, Maureen

I was fortunate to be one of the clincians who was honored and privileged enough to be member of Christine's oncology team at Fox Chase Cancer Center. I so enjoyed the time I spent with Bob and Christine, as they were clearly such a wonderful and caring couple. The devotion they had for and showed to one another was truly remarkable and served for all of us as a testament to the love and life they shared. I will always remember Christine as a woman who was filled with life, grace and poise - even in the moments when she was most greatly challenged by her disease. Bob - as I told you before, your tears of sadness will be many but because of the way you steadfastly stood by Christine and guided her through her final weeks, you will never have to cry a tear of regret. You truly amazed all of us with your strength and selflessness. Christine is at PEACE - I now wish that same PEACE for you. Thank you so much for showing me what true love is all about.

It was a great privilege for me to serve humbly in the role of Christine's treating oncologist. Her capacity to love is great. She held herself poised with courage in the face of uncertainty. Thank you, Christine, for bringing me into your life and care. Thank you, Bob, for your unconditional support and love of Christine.

I came to know Chris as a client and was always struck by her passionate commitment to the people she was entrusted to care for. All those whose lives she touched both personally and professionally should consider themselves fortunate. I count myself among them. Rest in peace my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We have lost a great friend and a lady warrior... In her human resources role, Christine fought injustice in the workplace with honesty, sensitivity and dignity for all parties and that rapier wit that we loved so much. She fought her medical battles with courage that is so inspirational. I know that we each have a special memory of her that we keep close to our heart and when we pull it out, it will invariably bring a smile to our face. She was THAT good - Miss Chris.

Losing Christine to me was like losing a daughter. We gave strength and hope to each other. With Christine's passing she took part of our heart who were blessed to have known her. May God Grant Christine eternal rest.

The keys to a meaningful life: To love, to laugh, to enjoy the company of family and friends and to leave this world a better place because you were in it. Chris-you lived not only a meaningful life, but a beautiful life. It was a privilege to know you and an honor to have had you as a friend. Richard and Nancy Phares

Christine and I were babies together, grew up right across the street from each other, shared our secrets together, boy talk, family talk, etc. We were so excited when our parents allowed us at 13 to take a bus trip together to 13th Avenue! How grown up we felt! We called each other sister friends. From the start of Chrstine's illness journey, she told me she wanted to have grace and dignity in dealing with what was ahead. She most certainly did. We spoke like clockwork, every single week, about everything and anything. We laughed, we cried, we confided; everything that sister friends do. Christine took a piece of my heart with her, and she in turn, will always be in my heart. We ended each conversation saying, "Love You Chris, Love you too Celeste". I will always hear and keep her words with me, "Live in the Moment Celeste" May our Lord bless you Christine, and hold you in the palm of his hand! I love you! Your sister friend, Celeste.

It was my pleasure to meet Chris when I worked at Quest Diagnostics, and she advised me and our HR dept. on critical issues. She was pragmatic and had a great sense of humor! I will always remember a particularly thorny issue she helped us through very successfully..and then asked when it was all over, " OK, now where can we get a good dinner?". she always made sure employees were treated with the dignity and respect they deserved...but she looked out for us directors as well. Well done, Chris! you will be missed.
Kurt Fischer left a message on November 29, 2012:
I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Chris for a number of years. She is a very special person; kind, truthful, genuine...but most importantly she became a dear friend. While I did not have the opportunity to visit with her often over the past few years, I was able to keep tabs on what she and Bob were up to. The love they have for each other is very special, and that love became a real inspiration for me. Bob, our heartfelt sympathies go out to you, and do know that we are here for you.

Chris was our dear friend and she called our friend Bob "GOLD". That he is and we will be friends forever. We will miss her wit, her love for style, for cooking great Italian food and our visits to the best restaurants. But mostly we will miss her! Words have liitle meaning now, but we promise that she will shine in our hearts for all time. Love you and wish you peace and love, Chris. Gail and Lynn
