Clementine Ann Foley, 83, of Spring Lake, passed away on Saturday at home with her beloved husband Tim at her side. Clementine was born in Holmdel and spent her early years on her family’s farm on Telegraph Hill Road and spoke often of her fond memories of that time of her life. During high school Clementine met her future husband Tim at a dance and they went on to celebrate over 60 years of marriage together and raised their family in Holmdel and later retired to Spring Lake, NJ.
Clem spent over 40 years working in banking, beginning at People’s National Bank in Keyport and later moved on to be a manager at Bankers Savings Bank. Upon retiring she began her antique business, Back in Time Antiques, and for a period of time owned the Keyport Antique Emporium before moving her business to The Red Bank Antique Center, where she worked until very recently. She also had a passion for real estate investing and with her husband bought, sold and managed properties to this day. While Clementine kept very busy with her work and hobbies like gardening, her true love was for her family, especially her 8 grandchildren. Holidays were always celebrated with family gatherings for meals and gifts.
Clementine is predeceased by her son Timothy J. Foley III. She is survived by her loving husband Timothy J. Foley Jr: her children Kelly Sapio and her husband Tom, Kerry McDevitt and her husband Joe and her beloved grandchildren Taylor, Timothy, Jake, Emma, Bella, Anna, Andrew and Gavin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24th from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ 07733. A service will be offered at 7:00 pm. Following her wishes, a private cremation ceremony will be held at The Holmdel Mausoleum.
