Words cannot express the sadness I feel with the passing of my dear friend Coralee. We have been friends since high school. I moved away many years ago but always kept in touch and would visit her when I was in town. We always had meaningful discussions about life, marriage, family and friendship. Even though she was dealing with this debilitating disease, she was there to support me with kind words, advice and encouragement. She helped me deal with my Mom’s passing and my boys’ trials and tribulations. She would make me laugh when she would refer to my Mom as her “leprechaun”. She made me feel safe to reveal my true self and I was never afraid to show my emotions in her presence. In fact, she sometimes referred to me as “cry baby” and boy does that apply now, more than ever. She taught me the true meaning of friendship, courage and strength. I will miss her deeply but will never forget her and will continue to seek her advice. I know she is in heaven looking down upon all of us. Rest In Peace, my everlasting friend.
