Dennis "Michael" Resta
January 26, 1951 - October 4, 2025

Dennis “Michael” Resta, 74 of Lincroft, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4th.

Born in Newark, Ohio, Michael attained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Monmouth University. He was an engineer at Bell Labs, Holmdel.

Michael loved to read and research any project that needed to be completed. He could fix anything.  He loved muscle cars and owned a few.  Michael appreciated good music, particularly John Lennon, Bob Dylan, the Beatles and 50’s & 60’s tunes.

Most of all, Michael enjoyed being at home with his family.  He loved all animals, especially his cat Minnie. He will be truly missed.

Michael is predeceased by his mother Constance; his brothers Ronald and Robert and daughter Kathleen Risden.

Surviving is his loving companion of 51 years, Marilyn Risden; Marilyn’s children Patricia (Mike) Bouthiller; Mary Risden (Tracey) and Barbara (Doug) Miller; Marilyn’s grandchildren, Christopher, Justin & Cade and Marilyn’s great granddaughter Riley Lynn.
