Diane M. Pappa, of Holmdel and Spring Lake Heights, passed away on February 2, 2026. The only child of Mary (Macaluso)and Casper Pappa, Diane grew up on her family’s 50-acre working farm in Holmdel. The Pappas grew strawberries, tomatoes, apples, peppers and other crops on their farm purchased in 1946.
Diane graduated high school and attended the Berkeley School of Business, after which she worked at Monmouth Racetrack. Deciding a desk job was not for her, Diane became a bartender in New Jersey and California. When she returned to New Jersey, Diane started her own house cleaning service until she retired to care for her parents full-time. Diane was devoted to her parents and saw each of them through their final years.
An avid vegetarian, Diane was committed to eating organically. She was a talented piano player, and she loved to take long walks. Diane also loved to drive, especially her forty-year-old1985 Ford F-150.
Diane is survived by cousins she grew up with who remember her fondly. She will be interred at Holmdel Cemetery on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
