Dianne Jablonski Griffitts, 63, of Oceanport passed away Monday surrounded by her family.
Dianne was born in Long Branch and raised in Oceanport. She graduated from Shore Regional High School and went on to attend and graduate from Monmouth University with a degree in education. She began her career in Long Branch public schools as a special education teacher and spent her entire career there between Garfield and Amerigo A. Anastasia Schools. While working, she went back to Monmouth University to obtain her master’s degree in educational administration. In 2005 she would marry the love of her life Bryan and the two settled in Oceanport.
Dianne loved traveling to Williamsburg, Virginia, Hersey Park, playing mini-golf and her boxing classes at Rock Steady Boxing in Little Silver.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband Bryan of Oceanport; her aunts RosalIe Falchek and Eleanore O’Rangers; her cousins Rosalie Falchek and her children Brianna, Allie, Casey and Raymond; Eleanore O’Rangers and John O’Rangers.
Visitation will be Monday June 14th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. A mass will be held Tuesday June 15th at 10:30 AM at the Oceanport United Methodist Church, 50 Main Street, Oceanport. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery.
