I still wake up each morning wondering if I'll be chatting with Don today or meeting him at Twin Brook.... until reality sets in. A 50 year-old habit is tough to break. Reflecting back over those years and our adventures together is like replaying my own life, as he and I shared so many family events and celebrations together. Don was responsible for introducing me to the great game of golf (his passion), and we partnered and battled on the course for nearly 50 years. He was a terrific friend and will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to Nancy, Colby, his sister Lynn, and to all his extended family. Farewell buddy!

God Bless you Donny. I loved Donny, MR. & Mrs. Bartis and Lynn. Donny and his family were close to me as we grew up on 51ST. in Bayonne. I played basketball in the school yard and even hung out with Donny during the summer even when he had both of his legs in a cast. Donny will be truly missed. My sincere condolences to Lynn, Nancy, Colby, Uncle John, and the entire family, relatives, and friends. God Bless Donny and all of you.
