Doris A. Johnson, 93, of Long Branch passed away peacefully Thursday, March 2nd.

Doris was born and raised in the Bronx.  She spent her summers in Keansburg where she met her husband, Don, in 1959. She was a parishioner of Star of the Sea RC Church and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernans. Doris was a Cub Scout Den Mother and a member of the Star of the Sea PTA.

Doris loved spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2018 and her daughter Doris Ann in 1970.  Surviving is her sons William and Joseph; her daughter Margaret; her sister Julia O’Connor and her grandchildren Shannon & Ryan Howe, Lauren Antonucci and Kimberly Johnson.

Visitation Tuesday, March 7th 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.  Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, March 8th 10:00 am at Star of the Sea RC Church, 101 Chelsea Avenue, Long Branch.  Burial to follow in Mt.
