Dorothy “Dottie” A. Fodero, 89, a longtime resident of Leonardo, died at her home on Friday July 7th. Before continuing, pour yourself a drink—Dottie would have insisted. I admired Dot so much! She was such a much loved member of our church family, we taught Sunday School together for years, worked the church bazaars and always hugged when we met. God bless you all and I hope your memories of your wonderful mom, grandma and my friend will bring you peace❤️ Carolyn Halleran and family

Dottie Fodero (and Rocky!) ...our "over-the fence" neighbors in Leonardo for all the years we lived there. Dottie was sweet and funny, always ready to share a laugh. They both will be missed.

Over the last 52 years my brothers Tom, Kevin and I have been blessed to have our Stepmom Dot McEvoy Fodero in our lives. I am certain she will be greeted with open arms by all her friends and family who predeceased her. Dot will be greatly missed by so many people she touched and loved. I am forever grateful for all her love and life lessons may she rest in peace.

My dearest Dottie, You have been a wonderful cousin, an awesome friend, and a great spiritual sister in my life and also in Maria's. God our Father has called you home and we accept that, yet it's been just a few days, and we already miss you terribly. Maria and I pray you are catching up with the entire family in heaven now, and will see you soon enough. We know it must have been awesome to meet the Lord face to face. Maria and Bill Hendry

I was one of 12 children who was blessed to have lived two houses away from dot growing up I knew her all my life and still stayed and touched through my brother who still lives across the street from her she was the most beautiful person both inside and out I always believed somehow she was stuck in time. She looked the same now as when we were kids I can still picture her saying when I come over there come on in sweetheart what can I get you honey? She loved to feed you whenever you were there, she would think nothing of cooking a meal for you, in an instant she will truly be missed. God bless her until we meet again.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
