Dorothy “Dee” Paolucci, 72, of Lincroft, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 14, 1953, in Bayonne, New Jersey, Dee was the beloved daughter of Anthony and Regina Bartnicki and the devoted wife of Patrick Paolucci Senior. Together they raised three children — Patrick Junior (wife Alice Barros), Pamela, and Alayne (husband Patrick Brunetti)— and shared a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. She was the proud grandmother of her cherished granddaughter, Bella Paolucci.

Dee’s professional life was as vibrant and multifaceted as she was. She worked for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, spent years in the world of jewelry and makeup, and still held her New Jersey real estate license — a testament to her drive and her ever-present curiosity about people and life.

She had impeccable taste in everything — from home décor and fashion to beauty and the perfect lipstick shade. She was an amazing cook who could make any meal feel like home, and she loved to travel, explore new places, and share her adventures with those she loved. Thoughtful to her core, Dee never forgot a card or a birthday, and no one ever left her house without a gift, a plate of leftovers, or a little something “just because.” She loved reading, keeping up with current events, and trips to Atlantic City, but nothing brought her more joy than summers at the beach and time spent with her children.

Known for her sharp wit, elegance, endless compassion, and signature sarcasm, Dee had a heart that was equal parts strength and softness. She was the first to check in, the last to hang up, and the constant worrier who made sure everyone got home safe. Her kindness and generosity touched everyone lucky enough to know her. Dee was the heart of her family and the soul of every room she entered. Her love was fierce, protective, and forever.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, at 10:15 AM at St. Leo the Great Church, 50 Hurleys Lane, Lincroft, NJ.
