Edward B. Clark, 59, of Union Beach passed away Thursday, April 18th. Eddie was born in New York and raised in Toms River. He graduated from Toms River High School East. He began his career on the Seaside Boardwalk as a dishwasher moving on to making pizzas and ultimately becoming the Director of Operations for Steve D’s Inc., which included the Sawmill and JR’s He did this for over 23 years. His eldest daughter has fond memories on the boardwalk with her dad. His professional career continued to keep him in the food industry as he moved on to work as a Multi-Unit Manager for Ted’s Montana Grill in Georgia until finding his way back to the Tri-State, working for places like Citarella, an Italian Gourmet Food Market in New York and then going on to work for Sakara Life.
Eddie had so much love for his two daughters that if you asked anyone, they knew they were both his world. He met the love of his life, Leona, and they were married in 2018. She loved him for exactly who he was. He was the type of person who brought laughter to every situation and was there for everyone. Eddie had limitless energy and a limitless heart, who opened his home to so many. He loved hosting parties for Christmas with Santa and birthdays. He knew what every person liked and made each person feel special and loved. He was the type of person that you could talk to about anything and respected his opinion.
Eddie enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughters. If you knew him, you knew that once his pool was open, you would always find him there. He had a passion for traveling and the stories he would share were endless. He was truly a foodie at heart and a great chef that enjoyed taking trips to visit Triple D locations. He was a lover of ice cream and pizza.
Eddie’s absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of sharing in his light.
He is predeceased by his father, William Clark.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife Hong Li “Leona” Clark, daughters Sierra Clark and Lianna Clark, his mother, Helen Clark, and three sisters Theresa Bickler, Kim Spicer, and Kelly Peccarelli, and many other loving family members and friends.
