Eleanor M. Smith, 83 of Long Branch, passed away Wednesday May 11th at the Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. Mrs. Smith was born in Matawan and had lived in Robbinsville, NJ for many years before moving to Long Branch in 2001. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Allentown Fire Dept. She was loved by her family, her colleagues in the Fire Dept. and her many friends. She will be missed by her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter Smith. Surviving is her loving daughter, Diane Tyler, Long Branch; five beloved grandchildren and 20 loving great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wed. May 18th, from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11AM at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St., Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Neptune.
