The photo attached is of a plant that my mother gave me. She grew it from seed and it was about 6" tall when she gave it to me, in Fall of 2022. I kept it alive thru the winter and potted it outside last summer. While she struggled through her health crisis last summer, the plant flourished, The entire summer I was amazed at how strong and beautiful this little plant had become. Like my mom, very strong and very beautiful. Of all the talents that my mom possessed, I am blessed to at least be good with plants. In the last few years we shared that, and I will always carry those conversations and trips to garden centers with me. Love you Mom ♥

Debbie Maciewicz left a message on March 13, 2024:
I met Elsie when a trusted caregiver for my aunt asked if I could help care for Elsie, who had returned to her home after 2 months in the hospital/rehab, You would think that I actually became her caregiver; in reality we cared for each other, because that’s just who Elsie was. We made adventures together, interspersed with the difficult days when a medical procedure or a medication would have after effects that would have kept anyone else down, She took those days in stride,, using them to keep up with everyone else’s doings and to send out her always remembered greeting cards. And then she was back to planning the next meal, the next outing, the next garden, the next crocheted blanket, the next phone call to one of us who had had a mishap. She was a gift to me. She gave me so much more than I gave. She will always be in my heart.♥️ My thoughts and prayers are with Diane, Michele, Nick and all of her very treasured family. Hold your memories of Elsie close….she is your angel,,,,,,
John left a message on March 13, 2024:
To me Elsie was not a mother-in-law but a Mom. In the early years when she lived in Woodcliff Lake, she positioned me to her left at the dinner table so she could kick me if I ate to much. She always told it like it was. In the later years, when she knew I was going to visit, she made me lists of chores (not always legible). Anyone who's seen her writing knows what I mean. She thought the lists were a lot for me but did not want to overwhelm me with to much. After deciphering the scratch, I would tend to the chores with a smile. She will be sorely missed and forever in my heart. What will I do with those three minutes it took me to complete the days chores? Love, your son John.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
