Evan Walker, 37, of Long Branch, passed away at his home on Monday.

Evan was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island and Hazlet, New Jersey. He attended Holmdel High School and then graduated from Monmouth University. Following college he began working for his family’s medical transport company.

Evan enjoyed traveling around the world, going to Atlantic City to play the slot machines, and volunteering for the Holmdel First Aid.

Evan is survived by his parents Jeffrey Walker and his mother Alide Walker; his siblings Erin Walker-Zeller and her husband RJ, and Julianna Walker; his niece and nephew Benjamin Zeller and Ember Zeller.

A service will be held on Friday, February 13^th at 10:00 AM at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, NJ. Burial will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Marlboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evan’s memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, www.shrinerschildrens.org.

I am so heartbroken to hear about Evan’s passing. We worked together at MMC-ER years ago and Evan always made the day/night shifts so much fun! He was just the sweetest and kindest young man, who I know will be missed by everyone who knew him. Prayers to the family! Rest easy Evan…💔

I am so saddened by the loss of Evan. He was truly a breath of fresh air. I got to know even through our companies. When I called him it was like talking to a long time friend. He always made me smile no mater what the situation was. Evan will be truly missed by many. His light may have dimmed on earth but his star will shine brighter then all the others.
