Florence Levine, of Long Branch passed away Dec. 9th, 22 days short of her birthday on January 1st at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY.
She was born in New York and lived most of her life in Monmouth County. She was a member of Congregation Brothers of Israel, Long Branch. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School Brooklyn, NY and Brookdale Community College Lincroft, where she served on the Alumni Board at Brookdale. She was President of the National Ladies Auxillary of the Jewish War Veterans. She was President of the National Museum of American Jewish Miliatary where she was the only woman to serve as President.
Surviving is her husband, Jerry Levine; two sons Ellis Goldberg and Richard Goldberg; Sister, Bella Topaz; her five grandchildren, Elena, Karen, Airella, Dezora and Ezra; three great granchildren.
Funeral services, 10 am Wed. Dec. 11th at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Interment at Brothers of Israel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
