I belatedly heard of Frankie’s passing (i.e., just now) and this has broken my heart - he is my cousin and we were born a week or so apart…never really hanging out that much given some of the distance between where we lived as kids and sometimes between our parts of the family but always aware of each other and the connection we had, especially as we got a little older when we got to know each other a bit better and had some truly fun times together. God bless you Frankie, what time we did have together was always so much fun and I hope you have found some peace. Love, your cousin Michael

I am so sorry for your loss!! ? Frank was such a great kid in HS. I can’t tell you how many times I sat next to him in the dugout and he would make me laugh. He never took him self seriously, loved playing both football & baseball for the love of the game. I still have the picture of him and Derik Warner walking off the field together with their helmets in their hands. That’s the way I will always remember him.

Dear Denise, I was absolutely heartbroken when I saw Frankie’s obituary. I have two memories of Frankie that stand out when he was in my first grade class. In my mind’s eye, he will always be that sweet innocent six year old with the beautiful blue eyes who stock piled all of your teaspoons in his desk after snack time. When it came time for desk cleaning, he had quite a stash to take home. My second fond memory is when he used the classroom bathroom, he would always start singing which made everyone smile or chuckle, myself included. If only his life could have stayed that sweet and simple. I am praying for you, Liz, Caroline, and most especially Frankie. May God comfort you and happy memories help to sustain you during this terrible time. May he rest in peace. - Elaine Belford

My first memory of Frankie was he in his diaper, with his Fisher Price fishing pole, Fishing in the family fish tank with a salami on the hook! Many times out to dinner, the older kids would be charged with taking him to the men’s room. Later he would take charge of my youngest, Gregory, taking him to the men’s room. Often shenanigans would ensue. He had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Frank and I shared a lot going through the things we were going through in the past two years we’ve known each other. A man who stood by his word and was always willing to help anyone out. Both being from NJ we hit it off Right from the start. Ha, A couple of Jersey boys in Washington. We had this inside thing that no one else understood. That helped me to be proud of my roots and not feel like an outsider. Through music, cars and sports We always had something to talk about. You will missed my friend. My sincere condolences to family and friends and all that knew him. Especially his nephew who He spoke so highly Of. He always had a gleam in his eye when speaking of his achievements. A proud uncle for sure. Keep your dreams alive and shoot for the stars young man. I’m so sad for your loss...our loss. Peace&Love everyone.
