My heartfelt condolences to the Journick family. As an environmental consultant, I've worked with Frank on some long term projects. He was a strong advocate for his client and a good man. We had some fun together, and I will miss him also

I remember driving with Frank one cold November night before one of our football games in his Dad's convertible Jaguar with the top down(I don't think he had his Dad's permission)and what a good time we had. We always laughed! Frank was a good friend and will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers go out to Patrice and his family.

Sorry to hear about the passing of "The Crane". Just a great guy, great teammate, and from what I hear a great family man. My wife was down at Wilentz on some business a few years ago and I told her if she runs in to Frank, to call him "The Crane." She did see him and once he figured out who she was, they had a good laugh. That is how I remember Frank, always with a smile on his face.

Frank was a good man. Though his life and mine coincided all too briefly, I will always treasure the opportunity I had to know him.

The Frank I remember was a warm, generous, kind-hearted, hugable kind of guy. I will always remember how he made me laugh. Especially when he would walk in the Carney house and say, "Nylka?" "What kind of a name is NYLKA!" I always thought he was great. Patrice, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Patrice and Family ~ I am so sorry for your loss. I have always enjoyed being at the Carney family gatherings. Highlights always involved interesting and colorful conversations with Frank. I will always remember Frank as a good family man he will be missed.

The Fordham Class of '81 has lost a special friend. I was tremendously saddened to learn of Frank's sudden passing from Jimmy O'Hara. Frank's sense of humor and friendship made our days at Fordham truly memorable. He was one of a kind. Patrice, you and your children, Mrs. J, and the entire Journick family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

The archaeologist from The Louis Berger Group, Inc. who worked with Frank on the Potter's Field Project extend our sincere condolences to his family and colleagues. Frank was a wonderful gentleman. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Bit ironic, but I was reading "One More Day" by Mitch Albom when I heard of Frank's passing. Would have liked to spend one more day with Frank. He always brought a smile to my face.
