Frank J. Abatangelo, 87, of Ocean passed away peacefully Sunday March 21st at Monmouth Medical Center.
Frank was born in Brooklyn. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Frank attained a Master’s degree and was an Industrial Engineer with Pirelli Tire Company.
Frank was an avid historian. He enjoyed studying all wars, particularly the Civil War; and learning about the presidents and all world leaders. Frank would find relaxation watching old movies, traveling throughout Europe, and sailing the Caribbean. Frank loved planes and had a pilot’s license.
Frank is survived by his wife, Jane; and her children Bill Wilson, Catherine Wilson, Michael Wilson and Holly Wilson; grandchildren Jon, Krystal, Chelsea, Taylor, Cooper & Samantha; great grandchildren Bridgette and Tommy; his nephews John & his wife Diane and Glenn & his wife Marianne; his great nieces Aria and Jacqueline;Â his great nephew Gabriel and his great great nephew Luca.
