Frank J. Abatangelo, 87, of Ocean passed away peacefully Sunday March 21^st at Monmouth Medical Center.

Frank was born in Brooklyn. He served his country honorably in the United States Army.  Frank attained a Master’s degree and was an Industrial Engineer with Pirelli Tire Company.

Frank was an avid historian.  He enjoyed studying all wars, particularly the Civil War; and learning about the presidents and all world leaders.  Frank would find relaxation watching old movies, traveling throughout Europe, and sailing the Caribbean. Frank loved planes and had a pilot’s license.

Frank is survived by his wife, Jane; and her children Bill Wilson, Catherine Wilson, Michael Wilson and Holly Wilson; grandchildren Jon, Krystal, Chelsea, Taylor, Cooper & Samantha; great grandchildren Bridgette and Tommy; his nephews John & his wife Diane and Glenn & his wife Marianne; his great nieces Aria and Jacqueline;  his great nephew Gabriel and his great great nephew Luca.
