Genevieve Redziniak Grygutis, 87, of Lincroft, died on Monday, June 24.
She was born in Elizabeth to the late Catherine and Peter Redziniak in 1937, where she was also raised. Genevieve (Jean) attended Battin High School and after graduating, she worked for Esso. She and her husband married and raised their family in Holmdel. Genevieve later worked at Prudential and retired from AT&T.
She enjoyed trying out new foods at various restaurants, shopping, and listening to music. She loved to go for rides, especially if she wound up in Atlantic City. She loved dogs, especially German Shepherds. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Anna Pertowski.
She is survived by her husband Fred Grygutis, her daughters Karen and her husband Walter Bertram of Middletown, and Ellen and her husband Jeff Harrold of Wall Township, her grandchildren Stephanie, Amanda and her husband Andy, and Katrina, and many loving nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on June 29th from 3-6 pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road. A funeral home service will be offered at 5:30.
