Anita and Family Members, We extend our deepest sympathy. Not only was Hank well known in New Jersey, he was also well know at Beachwalk at Indian River Plantation on Hutchinson Island near Stuart. Hank played golf nearly every day when he was in Florida; rain, wind, humidity and heat did not deter him. We will miss seeing him this winter. Tom and Marne Thomas
My condolences to Hank's wife and family. I spent many afternoons talking with Hank at MRGC and enjoyed him thoroughly. My brother in law (Joe Harriman) was close to his son so he always had time for me and was very proud of all his kids. He was a great man (called me "cousin" and I still don't know why). He will be missed. My condolences. Brian Shaughnessy and family.
Anita, my thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time. I will miss Hank and consider it an honor to have known him.
Sharon- my love, prayers, and hugs to you and your family. You know how special your entire family is to mine!! Holmdel has lost another great man who will be greatly missed but certainly has left his mark on this town! I believe Hank and Dominick are having many discussions about the Lucent property as we speak. That will keep them very busy along with them watching over their families and loved ones. Love you girl!!

To Henry's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Henry was a great man. I have such fond memories of him dating back to the 60's where he was a good friend of our family. I also dealt with him professionally where he was as solid as a rock in every way. I wish there were more like him. My thoughts are with you. I hope he did not suffer.
I've known and worked with Henry for 28 years...he was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of working with. My heart is very sad for his family, and I will miss his smiling face appearing at my counter in the Planning Board office. Henry was a true gentleman and I will miss the interesting conversations that I always had with him. There is a framed copy of a characature from the Independent in my office from a Planning Board meeting on Inverness in 1998 which ended at 3:17 a.m. Every time I see that picture, I think of Henry. May God bless his soul...he will be missed. A good man...gone way too soon.
Dear Anita, I was very saddened by the news of your husbands death. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hank was a true "handshake" guy. I had the very good fortune of working with him for many years and will always remember him as one of the people I most respected and admired. He was a man of his word and a person that was very fair but also strong. May he rest in peace.
Oh, I am experiencing intense sadness to learn of the death of Hank. He was such a special and delightful neighbor/friend to our entire family for over 45 years at the Jersey Shore. We shared so many laughs, jokes and special moments with the fabulous West family members. I reflect now on Hank's calm demeanor and welcoming smile. Anita, Carla, Sharon, Billy, Devin and all your family members, please know how very much we care and send you all our love, prayers and gratitude. The Walsh/Scofield and Kelly families.
My sincere deepest heart felt sympathy, Mr West always had a smile and laughing at our family/friends gatherings....He had strong loyalty to his community and family, and I just always enjoyed his car rides to Hockey games.....as well as enjoyed my families Home he built in 1976 for us, in Holmdel...I have always loved Him and those in his family that I knew, praying God carry you all in this time, and celebrate all the life he lived in a very "Henry West Way"..... Press On!
