Irene Newman, 78, of Long Branch passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Mrs. Newman was born in Hoboken, and lived in Long Branch since 1970. She was a Sales Associate for Freedman's Bakery, Long Branch for many years. She will always be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Mrs. Newman was predeceased by her husband of 38 years William J. Newman died in 2008. Surviving is a son, David Misiewicz, Long Branch; three daughters Kerri Beth Dixon, Long Branch, Francis Ginsburg, Holmdel and Irene Caputo, Little Egg Harbor; two grandchildren Dylan and Sloane. Funeral services will be Sat., January 2nd, 10 AM at the Chapel of Woodbine Mausoleum, Eatontown Blvd., Oceanport. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers you may make a contribution to a charity of your choice. You may light a candle of condolence by visiting www.woolleyfh.com
