Isabel Goll Drzewiecki, 87, of Manasquan, died on Tuesday, August 11.
Isabel was born and raised in Kearny to the late Cathrine and Charles Goll. After graduating from Kearny High School, she went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Douglas College, now Rutger’s University, where she was an active member of the Alumni Association. She worked for Johnson & Johnson for many years before working for Barrier Pharmaceuticals until she retired. She has resided in Manasquan since 2000, prior to that, she lived in Martinsville for 5 years, and lived part-time in her home in South Carolina. Isabel is also a proud member of the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan.
Isabel enjoyed reading,and playing bridge. She would also often listen to talk shows on the radio, something she enjoyed doing in her down time.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband John G. Drzewiecki, and her sister-in-law Henrietta Hallam.
Isabel is survived by her sister, Elizabeth C. McCann, nieces and nephews Kathrine Goss, Elizabeth A. McCann, Richard Hallam, and Laurie Hallam, and two grand-nephews Ty and Damon Faulkner.
A memorial service will be held at 10am at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Inurnment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, Isabel’s family asks, with gratitude, that donations in her memory be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, North Canton, Ohio.
