James E. Howe, Sr., 56 of Long Branch died on Wednesday, June 25th at Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel, after a brief illness. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of West End section of Long Branch, as well as a lifelong communicant of St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch. He was a graduate of Long Branch High School. Jimmy was a 35 year and exempt member of the West End Engine Co. # 3, Long Branch Fire Department. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, Moe and Agnes Howe and Irish Twin, Joey. He is survived by his 3 children, James Jr., Patrick and Erin all of Wanamassa; his sisters, Cathy and her husband Brian Stewart and Bridget Howe; his brothers Jon and Frank. Visitation Monday, June 30th, 6 to 9 pm, with Long Branch Fire Department services at 7:30 pm, at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday July 1st, 10:30 am , St. Michael's RC Church, West End.
