James J. Coughlin, 52 of Holmdel, NJ died Saturday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ. Mr. Coughlin was a stock broker and manager for Wachovia Securities, East Brunswick, NJ, and formerly vice president at A.G. Edwards and Sons Brokerage Firm, Spring Lake and East Brunswick offices. He graduated from St. Michael's College, Winooski, VT. He was a member and former Commodore of the Surf City Yacht Club, Long Beach Island, NJ. He was an avid sailor, ice boater, New York Giant Football fan, and enjoyed sailing Regattas. But the most important thing in his life was his family. Born in Jersey City, NJ having lived in East Brunswick prior to moving to Holmdel 14 years ago. He was predeceased by his father James P. Coughlin. Surviving is his wife, Linda Coughlin, 2 sons, James and Michael Coughlin, mother, Mildred Coughlin, of Ormond Beach, FL, brother, John Coughlin, Ormond Beach, FL, 2 sisters, Denise Borgstede, of St. Petersburg, FL, and Maureen Coughlin, Ormond Beach, FL.
