James Richard Heary, 85, of Aberdeen, passed away Monday surrounded by his family.
James was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from St. John’s Preparatory School, he would go on to attend and graduate from St. John’s University with a degree in accounting. He would begin his career in accounting but eventually move to Wall Street where he would spend the rest of his career in Institutional Sales.
In 1959 James married Patricia, and the two would begin their life in Brooklyn. In 1963, they would move to Aberdeen to raise their young family. He was a faithful servant of the St. Benedict’s church community, including his work over the past several years with the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
James is predeceased by his sister Mary Paturzo, of Rockville Center, Long Island.
