“Gayle and I are deeply saddened to learn of JT’s passing. Our love and prayers are with Sherri, Rob, Mary and family. JT was an important part of my early life. As running mates and sometimes rogues in our teens and 20's, to our professional alliance as programmers at Brookdale, to his incredible craftmanship when working on our houses, JT was always an ally and trusted friend. We will forever remember his kindness and wry smile. Rest in peace James. Harv & Gayle.”

Walt Owen left a message on October 3, 2024:
JT and I worked and played hard, in the Negev Desert, on the Jersey Shore, even in a prissy suburb of Boston where we first roomed together. I quickly came to know a man of unusually fine character--selfless to a fault, the sturdiest friend, quick to laugh, and tireless in his optimism and loyalty. He was the most decent person I've ever known. Unfortunately, too many times in recent months there would be some setback (I began referring to him as the Biblical figure Job). Every time, JT would try to make me feel better. "What are you gonna do?" he'd say. He may have been dealt a rickety heart 67 years ago, but never was one more noble. Farewell, dear friend. Walt.

Sheri- had no idea............So sorry for you, the kids and grandkids. I have such great memories of our Joanna Court gang as kids (J.T., Bobby (they don't call him that now :),Andy, Steve Walter, Paul Introcaso et. al. ) We played every sport (including having our own "Summer Olympics", hit the beaches and did all kinds of things kids can't get away with now. We were kind of like a mini Sandlot movie. I have one great J.T. story, which is sort of "carpenter related"(in a very weird and round about way) which I will talk to you about. When the family moved to West Long Branch, we all kind of lost touch eventually as we got into High School, but I did visit their place a number of times before that. J.T. was always full of energy, a good athlete and a fun kid to be with as a kid and a good person. I was always so happy when I thought of how you two connected so young and stayed that way. You are both very, very lucky as few couples ever get that. I'm also very happy for the family you guys have created. I'm so sorry and wish there wee words that could make this better. All my best - Norm M.

Andrew Grossman left a message on October 3, 2024:
Dear Sheri and the entire family, I am shocked and saddened by this loss. I grew up with JT, and we were tight as youngsters on Joanna Ct. I remember, like yesterday, playing football and baseball with him and Robert. May his memory always be a blessing --I will not forget him. Andy
