Janice Robins, 97, of Wayside, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown.

Born in Newark and raised in Maplewood, Janice was a graduate of Columbia High School. She married Stanley Robins, and the couple initially settled in Jackson Heights before moving to West Orange in 1961. In 2000, Janice relocated to Wayside.

Janice was deeply engaged in Democratic politics and was an active member of the League of Women Voters. She also served as Chair of the Greater Ocean Democratic Club. A dedicated member of Congregation Torat El in Ocean Township, Janice was known for her love of lively conversation, her warm friendships, and most of all, her devotion to her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley, in 2005. Janice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Michele Robins of Wayside; her daughter and son-in-law, Rachael and William Barish of West Orange; and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Evan, Alison, and Seth.
