Jean S. Orio, 92, of Eatontown, passed away Friday surrounded by her family.

Jean was born and raised in Long Branch and was a part of the 1948 graduating class of Long Branch High School. Following high school she began her family, having four kids and raising them until they were older and then she began her working career. She started working at Lou’s Uniform Store and stayed there until her retirement in 1993. She enjoyed crafts, reading, watching the Yankees and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her children Joseph Attanasio and his wife Lauren of Tinton Falls, Barbara Baxter and her partner Scott of Eatontown, Patti George and her husband Gary of Virginia, and Cathy Dillon of Tinton Falls, and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

At Jean’s request she will be privately cremated.
