Jeffrey M. Flashnick, 73, of Oceanport, NJ, passed away Wednesday morning after a long illness. Jeff was born in Bronx, NY, and after moving to Long Island and Texas, his family settled in Highland Park, NJ.
Jeff earned the nickname “Flash” by becoming an All-American track star and was a scholarship athlete at the University of Tennessee. Jeff was a successful owner of a Singer sewing store and later became National Sales Manager of Classics Optical Frame company. Along with his loving wife of 51 years, Jackie, Jeff is survived by his two sons, Jon (Dawn) and Jacob, his two adoring granddaughters, Maya and Alice, and many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Marcie and Jack, and his daughter Kim.
Jeff was happiest when attending balls games with Jon and Jake, spending a sunny day at the track, and traveling to Las Vegas and AC with Jackie. Jeff was a real jokester with an ever present smile and loved nothing more than kibitzing with family and friends, he will truly be missed.

There will be a graveside service at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge on Friday, January 14 at 1:00 pm along with a live stream service.
