Jeffrey M. Pickelny, 64, of Ocean, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 8th.

Born during the holiday season of 1958, Jeff was the eldest of his two siblings, Jay and Randi. The three kids were raised by Norman and Sondra Pickelny. They resided in Passaic, New Jersey, which afforded Jeff fun trips into New York City when he was young. He attended Northwood Institute in Midland, Michigan to study cars and sales – passions and skills that stayed with him through his whole life.

In 1984, Jeff married Linda, the love of his life – even when her hair is straight! – and they had two astounding children. Their twins, Josh and Shelby, were born in 1999. The family has resided in Ocean Township for the last 24 years, enjoying Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (where Jeff and Lin were leaders of Josh’s and Shelby’s troops, respectively), family, the temple, outdoor concerts, and the beach, most of all. Jeff’s free, inquisitive, and fun-loving spirit should always be remembered, as his loved ones continue enjoying the rest of this beautiful life.
