Jeremi Lynn Teixeira, 45, of Manhattan, New York, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was born on August 30, 1980, in Red Bank, New Jersey, and grew up in Holmdel and Rumson before later living in Freehold, Orlando, Florida, and ultimately making her final home in Manhattan.
Jeremi was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Lucia Mora-Teixeira, and her son, Xander Mora-Teixeira, who were the center of her world. A free spirit with an amazing sense of humor and a zest for life, Jeremi loved music, travel, art, and spontaneous adventures — especially when shared with her children, family, and friends. She was a lifelong Disney enthusiast, an animal advocate, and a caring person who was always ready to help others.
Jeremi showed remarkable endurance and resilience, bravely battling cancer for ten years with strength, grace, and determination. Through every challenge, she continued to live life to the fullest, creating lasting memories and cherishing every moment with her loved ones.
She is survived by her children, Lucia and Xander; her mother, Sharon Salm; her father, Rick Salm; her grandfather, James Dunne; the father of her children, Audie Mora, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Tamara Hunter; her aunts, Alexis Flanagan, Debbie DiFrancesco, and Cheryl De Lorenzo; her uncle, William Hadash; her beloved dog, Baxter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Jeremi was predeceased by her grandparents, Theresa and William Hadash, and Richard and Elizabeth Salm.
Jeremi will be remembered as a dedicated mother, a caring soul, and a loyal friend who lived life to the fullest. Her laughter, warmth, adventurous spirit, and unwavering courage will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
