Joanna Helen (nee Yandola) McCartin, 85, of Tinton Falls, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at The Gardens at Seabrook Village peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family. Joanna was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 20, 1936. She graduated from Saint Mary’s High School.

Joanna was married to Robert M. McCartin on April 4, 1959, and they spent 57 wonderful loving years together. Joanna was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever the opportunity presented itself.

Joanna is preceded in death by her husband Robert M. McCartin, of Holmdel, NJ; her parents, James and Helen, both of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Joanna is survived by her children, James & wife Lisa, Maureen & husband John, Thomas & wife Sharon, Robert & wife Deborah, Annemarie & husband David, her ten grandchildren, James, Jeremy, Andrew, Daniel, Matthew, Nicole, Lauren, Brian, Nicholas, Brianna, and 3 great grandchildren, Cassidy, Cole, Cora, her sister Karen Ward and her sister-in-law/best friends Carol Anne Voltmann & her husband Arthur of Houston, TX.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Benedicts Roman Catholic Church in Holmdel, NJ at 10:00 am on Tuesday July 5, 2022, followed by an entombment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery in Marlboro, NJ on Rt 520.
