In lieu of Flowers, Joanne;s family has requested that donations be made, in her memory to: The American Cancer Society 801 – Broad Street Shrewsbury, New jersey 07702 > < Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Johnson resided in the Todt Hill section of Staten Island before moving to Colts Neck just 4 years ago. She is survived by her husband Gene, her daughter Christina, her son Erik, her father Sam Citto and her brother Robert Citto, and her loving dog 'Sniffy'.She was predeceased by her mother Emma (DeMaio) Citto, and her sister Linda Nelson.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many memories of her as our class mom at St. Teresa's. She was a wonderful and sweet person. I lost my mom two years ago and found this to be so true. I've learned that GOODBYES will always hurt. Pictures will never replace having been there. Memories good or bad, will bring tears and words can never replace those feelings.
