John J. Mazza, 86, of Eatontown, NJ, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 2nd. Mr. Mazza was born in Long Branch, NJ, grew up in Rumson and was a life long resident of Monmouth County. He worked for many years as a Bartender at The Brother's Restaurant, Red Bank. After retiring from the Brother's, he drove the SCAT bus for Monmouth County. John was a founding member of the 'live life to the fullest club,'and he strived to enjoy each day of his life to the fullest. Mr. Mazza was pre-deceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Catherine Mazza; brother, Frank Mazza; sisters, Catherine Mazza Kristiansen and Alice Mazza Rodney; and his niece Deborah Mazza Bouthillier. Surviving are his sister-in-law, Jean Mazza Moreau, West Palm Beach, FL and his brother-in-law, Arthur Kristiansen, Red Bank, NJ. He was a warm and fun-loving Uncle to 14 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him. As was his request, Mr. Mazza was cremated.
