He served City of Long Branch as a Special Police Officer, a Paid fire fighter and then he joined the Police department finishing his career as a Detective. he served as the Citys Juvinille detective during his tenure. Amongst his honors he was named Policeman of the year by the Long Branch Exchange Club, and the Monmouth County 200 Club for his heroic efforts in the Long Branch Post Office where he had disarmed an individual who was involved in a stabbing
