Your loss is shared by my family and I. Our hearts go out to you and yours. I had the priviledge of knowing Johnny first as an employer for 12 years, then as a friend and and confidant ever since. He opened his house, family and heart to me. There wasn't anything I wouldn't have done for him. One of the most sincere persons I could have ever asked to have known. His heart, personality and humor was by far a gift given to him. I can still remember planting all those trees with him and would do it all over if I could. Johnny always said he raised me from when I was 18. With all I learned from him about business and life, I feel as if he did. I have endless memories and laughs from knowing him.

I haven't seen or spoken with Johnny in many years, but he was a dear friend and I've thought of him often. We shared a lot of good times and laughs, and I will always remember him as one of the most genuine people I've ever known. My condolences to the Kokinakos family, and anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him.
I offer our deepest condolences and prayers. I knew Johnny before I even knew my husband Craig and I feel so privileged to have known him.On many occasions Johnny would say "Craig your my one and only Bestfriend, no really" He had never ending wit, which I adored. He was one of the kindest and most generous people I have every known. He came to see my children when they were born in the hospital before anyone else. Since the day they were born he treated them as his family. My children knew him as Uncle Johnny and he always treated them and my husband and I as his family. As we have always considered him to be our family. God Bless

I never met Mr. Kokinakos but I went to school with his son Peter from K-8th grade and he was in my classes numerous times. Peter was always such a bright and uplifting soul and everyone in our class loved him. On the CDMS Class of 2006 page on facebook we have Peter listed as our hero. Peter was a shining star and it was sad for all of us when he did not join most of us at CNHS. Peter has faced challenges in his life but has always worked past them but I know this hurdle will be difficult. Peter is a strong soul and I am sure that goes for the rest of his family as well. I still talk to his friend Colin but have not spoken to Peter in a while and it breaks my heart to see such a genuine and warm person go through this pain. Peter, all those kids you went to school with including myself will always remember you and we will keep you and your family in our prayers during this difficult time.
you are gone now but will never be forgotten , to me you were just like family not like a father or anything but like a big brother that alwayz wanted to give me advise even if i didnt want it .. and for that i thank u . i will miss you dearly and think of you each and everyday .. until we meet once again . i know you are safe now from harm and you are with god and for that i feel at ease to know you are in a better place .. we will always love you and miss you .. danielle hernandez selert
