I first met John when I was about 8 or 10 years old when he was dating my cousin Emma. Even back then we traded barbs and continued that until his passing. Whenever I would call him he would answer and say, What the h _ l l do you want? I would respond with Nothing, just to annoy you. Although he was my cousin through marriage, I regarded him as my cousin and older brother. I love you, John. You are so very much missed. I'm already missing the lunches we used to have. Say hello to Emma for me.

I'll never forget when Unce John and Aunt Emma to me and my brother , Michael, to the Barnum and Baily circus. I was about 5 years old (I,m now 82). It was so wonderful and exciting. Michael was afraid of the clowns. It was the beginning of a lifetime of beautiful memories with two of my favorite people. Now I can see him dancing with his beautiful bride - finally together again. We will never forget your laugh and sarcastic sense of humor. We'll all miss you. Love you!!

We will miss our dear uncle (by proxy) for his jokes, his kindness, and his quiet generosity , but, most of all, for his "message" T-shirt which always made us smile. It was a pleasure to know him. Rest in heavenly peace, Uncle John! Love to all, Betty & Jack
