Joseph P. Dillon, 86 formerly of Monmouth Beach, died Wednesday, October 1st at Renaissance Gardens, Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. Joe was born in Red Bank and was a long time resident of Monmouth Beach. He moved to Seabrook Village on August 1st. He was a partner and operated Shore Industrial Plumbing Supply, Neptune. Joe was a parishioner and active volunteer of the Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. He was an exempt and life member of Monmouth Beach Fire Company, and served on the Monmouth Beach Recreation Commission for many years. He was a licensed recreational pilot, he enjoyed flying out of Allaire airport, and was a member of the NJ Air Club in Wall Twp. Joe was pre-deceased by his daughter, Kathleen P. Dillon in 2005 and his daughter-in-law, Catherine Dillon in 2004. Surviving Joe is his wife, Arlene Rooney Dillon; three sons, Michael and his wife Anna Dillon, Phoenix, Az, Steven Dillon and his partner Greg Baron, Manahawkin and Joseph Dillon, Manahawkin; he is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Friday, October 3rd, 5 to 9 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, October 4th, 11:30 am, at the Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Entombment will be private.
