Josephine DeWald, 96, of Long Branch, died Friday at the Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She lived in Long Branch for 44 years, prior to that she and her husband lived in the United States and several countries in Europe. Surviving is her husband, Henry DeWald, whom she married July 15th, 1942; a son, John H. DeWald, Saugerties, NY and his partner, Stephen S. Kitsakos; a daughter, Anita Marie Menno,and her husband, Louis Joseph Menno, East Brunswick; a granddaughter, Theresa Marie Capilupi and her husband Savino Antonio Capilupi, Tinton Falls; a grandson, Michael Louis Menno.. Visitation will be Tuesday, 10 am to 11 am at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St. at Broadway, Long Branch. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories. Those wishing may light a candle of remembrance at www.woolleyfh.com.
