Judi L. Cook, 63, of Long Branch, passed away Thursday at Monmouth Medical Center.
Judi was born and raised in Long Branch, she graduated from Long Branch High School in 1978. Following high school, she would begin her career working at Monmouth Medical Center in their records department and would eventually move to Monmouth Hematology and Oncology as a secretary.
Judi would marry the love of her life, Alan, in October 1989 and would raise their children in Long Branch. Judi loved to dance, go to concerts, she enjoyed puzzles, Rod Stewart, Judge Judy and the Holidays.
Judi is predeceased by her mother Marie Steets; her stepmother Jeanie Thompson; her stepfather Louis Steets; and her brother-in-law Robert O’Hagan.
Judi is survived by her loving husband Alan Cook; her children Alex and Jack Cook; her father Roy Thompson; and her siblings Sharon O’Hagan, Debbie Thompson, Jackie Steets, Kelly Sheehan, and Kevin Steets.
A memorial gathering with be held Friday, January 5th from 4:00-7:00 PM with a service 6:30 PM at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, NJ 07740.

Dear Alan, Alex and Jack,
Both Bobby and I are truly so sorry for your loss and send you our deepest condolences. Judi was such a dear friend with a beautiful smile and kind and warm engaging personality. We shared numerous great times and wonderful dinners with you and of course we will never forget all of the 4th of July celebrations we had together. Judi was a loving wife and the best most caring mom ever! We know how unfortunately she was ill these last years and how difficult it was for her and all of you. She will be so missed and our hearts ache but we know where she is and that she is not suffering anymore. Not that it makes her loss any easier. You know that Bobby and I are always here for you.

So many memories of Judi from years ago. From watching her get married, having children and just being a good person that her Mother and Father raised well. Always had a smile, like her picture. She was polite, kind and loving to everyone. I dont think I ever heard her say a bad word about anyone. She was a great mom, I would watch her playing with them across the street. She lived in a cottage behind one of the houses. Kept a lovely home.
Judi I didn't know how sick you were honey and I'm so very sorry I hadn't seen you in all these years. My heart is hurting right now.
