Dear Carol Ann and family, Richard and family, Every two years we met in Amsterdam or Rotterdam during Bob's never-ending tour: Jules was always gentle with a great sense of humour and interested how the " Dutch connection " was doing. It's a shock and unbelievable that Jules tour has ended now! We wish all of you the strength to continue and we will keep Jules memory in our hearts. Hay and Ingrid
My tears & hugs are with you, along with warm heart-joy memories of Jules always making me feel special with a hug, and a "Hey Lil' Sis"! (If my brother Gary wasn't with me, I knew I had another big brother if Jules was there). I'm so glad I had the opportunity to be in Jersey this July and share more memories with special friends. We will miss Jules, but memories last forever.
Jules...sweet Jules.. thank you for being a part of my life. Thanks you for the endless of hours of laughs and harps. You were the Host with the Most in that camp. Wow didnt we have some laughs. Memories we all will always cherish. Somehow i know Hoot opened the heavenly door of his tour bus and has given you a lift. You all continue to have fun on your next spiritual journey! May your loving family ,be surrounded by your constant love and light from afar. Until we all meet again. Blaze a trail in the Universe. XO Kelley
Jules, you will be missed so. One of a kind who always had that great twinkle in his eyes, always a warm hug and a great laugh. Loved meeting your lovely wife and "children". Words can't express the emptiness we feel but know that the brightest star in the sky is you keeping us all laughing. Hugs from down here. Our deepest sympathies to your family. May their memories bring them peace during this very difficult time.

Dear Family of Jules. First of all My well ment condolences. I am very very sorry for your loss. He was such a loveble man. I have met Jules a couple of years ago when he was in Holland. It was great to meet him after we met and played as children. Being that my father is the eldest brother of Jules his father, we met as children when Joseph and Diane came to visit his Mother father, brothers and sisters. Also he visisted us when my parents had there 25 aniversary. So for me it was a big and very nice surprise to meet him as an adult and catch up a bit. (by the way, if there are no pictures of that event in his childhood I can scan them in fo you and send them) We hoped to meet him again soon. The fact that we got the message that he died came as a shoque. We did not know anything about his illnes. At this moment I am in Gemany. When I ame at home and this is still online I wil scan some pictures in for You. I wish you all the best!! Toos Aerts Nice of Jules
Sound Man or should I say "The Sound Man" He did many shows for us at the Beacon Theater including all of our Blues Festival for Benson and Hedges --Ry Cooder never sounded so good -Kept Mr Dylan happy for many years ! Thanks Jules

Carol Ann, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. I remember meeting him at one of the reunions and thinking he was such a nice guy. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
My fondest memories of Jules was in our biology class. Although he had a shy side to him he could always make us laugh with his dry sense of humor. I remember him as a sweet soul with a good heart. Rest in peace Jules. Make them smile up there!
Ive thought of you often during these passing years. Thanks for your friendship, serenity and support back in the day. You won't be forgotten. I pray you find your peaceful rest.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Jules took a little piece of everyone's heart when he left us. It must have been quite a load for him to carry, as he touched so many hearts. What he left behind - the memories and the laughter we will all cherish forever. The wealth of that must sustain us in the days and years to come. Of most importance, Jules gave us your beautiful and loving family. Thank you, Jules, for all of those gifts.
I will always remember him. Great memories! God bless him and Carol Ann and the children. They are all in my prayers.
My heart and deepest sympathy go out to all of Jules' family and closest friends. Jules made it hard to distinguish if you were an acquaintance, dear friend or family; he treated us all the same, with unbiased acceptance and love. We were joking about in AZ with Tracey D. Jules ask Jim Deacon and me to follow them back to the hotel.Jim had recently lost his leg and was in a lil pain!but told Jules that he would be in a blue and white Blazer. Jules response? I don't care what you're wearing just follow us !!!1 crutch went to the left another to the right! Jim hit the ground and laughed for 10 mins straight!!!! 30 yrs and still laughing. Jules-A true Eagle born to touch all! May you forever smile......
Dear Carol and Kids. Sorry about your loss. I can't make the services as I will be out of town. My thoughts are with you. Bob

Oh he could make you laugh like no tomarrow he was a fun fun guy And he never had a bad thing to say to anyone and that's the truth just a great guy. Very sad
Jules will always be remembered by all of our family as a life loving, fun and kind person. He was loved by our children Bryan and Amy and us as well. I will never forget my 40th birthday present from him---a guest seat on stage at a Bob Dylan concert. He will never be forgotten for his richness of personality and character. Love to all of you.
