McGovern, Kathleen (Kay)…Kay McGovern died in peace on September 19. A beautiful person inside and out, Kay will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by the beloved children, granddaughters, great grandchildren, friends and family she leaves behind. Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, James McGovern and her son Edward, Kay is mourned by her children, daughter Kathleen and husband Richard Kearns, her son James and wife Christine McGovern, her daughter Deborah McGovern, her daughter Colleen McGovern and partner Marc Ryan, her granddaughter Katie and husband James McGlew, granddaughters Kelly Guarino, Maura McGovern, Myla McGovern and two great grandchildren, JT and Kennedy McGlew. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 17 at 11 AM at Saint Augustine’s Parish, 118 S Main St, New City, NY, followed by a luncheon celebrating Kay’s life.
