Kenneth J. (“Ken”) Moser, age 81, passed away on June 12, 2022.
Ken was born on January 25, 1941 to Della and Ben Moser in Manhattan, NY. Originally from the Bronx, NY, he and his family spent their summers and weekends In Loch Arbor, NJ, until permanently relocating to the West Allenhurst section of Ocean Township when he was 14, where he spent the rest of his life. Ken was a 1958 graduate of Asbury Park High School. Afterwards, he graduated in 1962 from University of Miami, where he became a lifelong ‘Canes fan, and was almost always seen wearing his orange and green University of Miami apparel. He later received his Masters in Education (Rehabilitation Counseling) from Seton Hall University. Professionally he spent 32 years as a Personnel Management Specialist at Fort Monmouth.
Ken is survived by his wife of 37 years Carole, son Dr. Matthew Cunningham, daughter-in-law Erin, grandchildren Grace, Finian, and Teagan, sister Francine Cohen, nephew David Cohen and wife Shanna Silver, niece Kara Cohen and husband Daniel Host and their children Jade and Ava.
A Graveside Service will take place Wednesday, June 15th at 10:00 am at Beth Miriam Memorial Park, W. Bangs Avenue, Neptune.
