My heartfelt condolences to the entire Tricarico family. I was blessed with the opportunity to know Kevin for almost 25 years and I always admired his intellect, passion for many things including sports and the welfare of our country, and most significantly his amazing spirit and courage. I will dearly miss my friend and our many conversations about the state of everything. Rest in peace my friend, you made the world a better place and your light still shines on all who we’re fortunate enough to know you!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Tricarico family. I fondly remember our Northeastern class joining the swim team together as freshman. We immediately became fast friends. Kevin was instantly a star and the leader for our class. Above all, the impact of the times Robby Gallant, Kevin and I spent together will forever make a profound difference in my life. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing. Although we never met, I followed his story after his accident. I hoped that there would have been, by now, a cure for the both of us and all those who have spinal cord injuries. Despite his injury, it looks like he didn’t stop enjoying life and that he didn’t let it define him. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Todd Lotozo

Very sad to hear the news of Kevin’s passing. I have fond memories of growing up next door to the Tricarico’s. My brother, Ken and I would be out all day playing sports with Kevin and the neighbors. Marlboro -River Drive was a great place to grow up. We did odd jobs for neighbors and were always making money during all seasons. Kevin was a competitor., we competed together on football and swim teams growing up. I also remember Kevin loved to fish. We had lots of party boat trips that Frank brought us on. Kevin and I texted during the holidays, that was the last time I spoke to him. Rest In Peace , God Bless!

My heart is sand once again with hear of the passing of Kevin I remember as a young kid when my parents would go visit Frankie and Dolores I was always excited to go spend the night but I really enjoyed the times with Kevin him being 7 years older he always made me feel he was excited always he was probably like I have to entertain this kid again….lol but I always had a blast whether we took the dirt bike out for ride or we went fishing or just looking and talking about the hobbies that him and Frankie shared together like spinning the fishing poles design and there love for computers we would spend hours trying to stay busing my dad (Al ),Frankie and Kevin while waiting for Dolores and my mom (AnneMarie) to get back from shopping all over Jersey my dad Frankie met in the Marine Corp and our families had been friends since we have still kept in touch even after the passing of my parents and that has meant a lot to me we are family so I just want to add that Kevin Will truly be missed.. Love to the Tricarico family always

Dear Kevin, You were the leader of our cousin crew. The "first", the "smartest", the "tallest" and obviously the strongest. May you be at peace and reunited with all our loved ones in Heaven. Karen said it best, you are there taking care of them now. Love and admiration always. Lisa

Kevin was my intramural swim team coach back in the days of the Freehold Area YMCA. He had a great impact on my formative years. I was glad to re-connect with him on social media later in life and have some really good "talks" that way. Be at peace, My Friend. (And may the NJ Devils win a game in your honor!)
