To my dear friend Leslie and the Shannon Family. I am so very sorry on hearing of Kimberly’s passing. I remember her fondly from my days of visiting her parents home with Leslie, and the fun times we shared when she and my younger sister, Carole, came to visit Leslie and me at C.W. Post. It is so very difficult to lose a mom and a sister. My thoughts, love, and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Cherish the memories. She will always be in your heart ❤️. With deepest sympathy, Patricia Miernicki

I have a million great memories with my buddy Kim Shan and her whole family , she was a rare friend , never a bad word between us except the time we were looking through pics of a luau party me and my hubby had and she got mad saying “why wasn’t I invited”, I kept going through the pics and then there she was in full luau clothes and a lay, I said there you are ding bat! When I first knew her she told me I was gonna marry my husband and she was right….kim was the type of friend that she could have so much going on in her life but always had time for you, she cried at everything because her heart was full of love and empathy. She loved sports. Her biggest love was her 3 beautiful kids she was tremendously proud of them and talked about them all the time with such joy….I’ll never forget during her illness taking her to Sandy Hook so she could see the deer and Bruce playing on the radio, it was a Tuesday because he played 2 in a row it made her so happy. I’ll never forget my family and her and Michael all going to Xmas Eve dinner together a couple years ago and all the awesome beach days with all the kids and hangouts in my garage. I will miss my Kim Shan so very much, I was so lucky to have her friendship and she will forever be in my heart.
