Lawrence Scott Wolf, 57 of Highlands died on Wednesday, August 18th due to complications of Covid 19.
Larry was born in 1964 in Neptune and grew up in West Long Branch.
He graduated from Shore Regional High School, playing various sports including baseball and soccer. He continued his studies graduating from Brookdale Community College.
His giving ways were many including volunteering at St. Agnes Church in Highlands, NJ and Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, NJ. Residents in his community-appreciated Larry in assisting them with their daily chores: a drive to the doctor or shopping; Best of all… being a caring friend.
He had a passion for the ocean, surfing, Sandy Hook, music, and nature in general. Larry enjoyed hikes at Hartshorne Woods Park. He was an avid Yankees fan, and always wore their logo hats and shirts.
His greatest joy was seeing others happy. All holidays were favorites and will never be the same without Larry’s special touch. “Creativity could have been his middle name, and sensitivity is who he was….”
He is predeceased by his father James Douglas Wolf.
Surviving is his mother Grace Wolf, brother Marc Wolf of San Francisco, nephew Jasper James Wolf, his Dear Friend Cathy DePoce and his nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 24th at 11 am at Agudath Achim Cemetery, West Bangs Avenue, Neptune.
