Lillian “Cookie” M. Teti, 96, West Long Branch, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 18th at home.
Born and raised in the West End section of Long Branch, Cookie attended the catholic Star of the Sea Lyceum School in Long Branch as a young girl and later Long Branch High School. Cookie moved to West Long Branch in 1953 with her husband, John E. Teti. She was a communicant of St. Michael’s RC Church. Cookie spent time in the West Long Branch Library and enjoyed reading novels. She loved her doll collection and enjoyed visiting the Lighthouse and Windmill with family members. Cookie also enjoyed watching the Yankees every year.
She always had a smile for everyone. Fun, witty and caring, Cookie loved being with her family and friends.
Cookie was predeceased by her husband John in 1988. Surviving are her children, John C. Teti, Middletown, Peggy Kelly, Long Branch and Stephen J. Teti, West Long Branch; her grandchildren Stephen, Sarah, Mike, David, Derek, Max and John and her great-grandchildren.
Visitation Sunday, April 23rd 1:00-4:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian burial Monday, April 24th 12:30 pm at St. Michael’s RC Church, 800 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch. Burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
